YAY! Happy Birthday Virginia!!! Wow that would make the Tamale Goddess a Cancer...
She is sooooooooo sweet- I saw her all over town this weekend- tirelessly partying and servin up those best tamales.
I want her to be in my wrestling troupe- but she says her back injury prevents it. I tell her she should just throw tamales at people's heads then. Then she always laughs and that makes me happy.

I went to this and it was a total packed house. I've never seen Zeitgeist that packed. Virginia was serving up her famous Tamales (all flavors) along with some AMAZING homemade creamy guacamole, potato salad, green salad and other stuff.

They played the Tamale Lady movie on the "big screen". It was great. She talked about how she grew up making and selling Tamales with her grandma and how she uses no MSG or lard in her tamales, by the way!

She was wearing a dress and a bright pink wig and kept saying things like "I love you babies! I don't know you all but I love you!"
